Terms and Conditions
Please read the following carefully, by booking with Haki you accept the following terms and conditions.
1. BOOKING
After receiving your booking, you will receive a confirmation letter from us, confirming your travel arrangements; the confirmation letter stipulate the price, itinerary, included services and your hotel list.
Deposit and Payment
At the time of confirmation (no later than 14 days after the receipt of the confirmation letter)a 20% down payment is due in order to secure your booking. Down payment and payment can be made via bank transfer or Credit Card (Paypal). Please inform us of your payment preference. In the case of flight purchase or a travel insurance the full amount of these service have to be paid at the time of booking.
One month before your departure you will receive a reminder of the outstanding amount, which is due no later than 14 days of departure. In case of non-payment of the balance we will consider the booking as cancelled.
2. Cancellation and Refund
The travel arrangement can only be cancelled in written (letter to our mailing address or via electronic E-Mail). The following terms apply:
2.1.1. Flights
In the case of flight arrangements, the total amount of the ticket has to be paid immediately at the time of booking, the refund of money depends on the terms and conditions of the respective airline.
2.1.2. Tour arrangement
In the case of cancellation on your behalf the following cancellation charges apply:
Up to 4 weeks before departure: no charges, full refund
between 30 and 15 days before departure*: 20% of the total price
between 14 and 3 days before departure*: 85% of the total price
3 days or less before departure*: 100% of the total price
*) Dates refer to the date we receive the written notification of your cancellation.
Failure to be present at the stiputated arrival day incurs to a loss of the total cost of the tour arrangement.
2.2. Insurance
We strongly recommend you to purchase an insurance against irrecoverable cancellation costs and/or travel insurance.
Haki reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in case of external circumstances and incidents for which Haki cannot make provisions; and or the traveler does not conform with the payment conditions.
3. SERVICES and Price
3.1. Services
All travel arrangements and services will be carried out according to the stipulations in the confirmation letter. If a passenger is unable, or does not choose, to complete an itinerary as outlined in our confirmation letter, Haki is not obliged to supply alternative itineraries, excursions, accommodations or services.
3.2. Price
The price and included services are outlined in the confirmation letter. After receipt of your deposit the prices are binding. Tips are not included in the price.
4. LIABILITY
Haki shall not be liable for expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the confirmation letter. Expenses due to the delay of a trip for any reason (e.g. bad weather, hurricanes, flooding, sickness, or other contingency for which Haki cannot make provision. Expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by airlines or belongings left behind on a trip bodily injury or property damage for any reason, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance , theft, default, changes in government regulations, terrorism, war, or failure of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, etc., over which Haki has no control.
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to provide the complete documentation required to enter into Mexico (valid passport, for some nationalities visa). Failure to provide proper documentation may result in cancellation of your tour and loss of your full tour payment.
Travelers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
In the case of computer or human billing error Haki reserves the right to re-invoice with correct billing. Haki is not responsible for typographical or printing errors
Haki makes arrangements with hotels and other tour operators, such services are subject to the conditions imposed by the supplier.
5. PRIVACY POLICY
We take your privacy seriously. Please do note that Haki will not sell, rent, trade, or give your personal information to any other organization. In oreder to book a flight or a holiday with us, we will need to collect information about you to deal with your booking as smoothly as possible . This information may include such details as your name, your address, your e-mail and your credit card details. We disclose your information to third parties for the purpose of completing your transaction with us, providing the above services to you and for the purposes of associated administration and obtaining professional advice . We may use the information provided by you to contact you about your trip. By disclosing your personal information to us using this website you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information by Haki as stated in this Privacy Policy.
6. ADVENTURE TOURS
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the hazards involved in this kind of holiday, including injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. The outlined itineraries are subject to change. Changes in itinerary may be caused by local political conditions, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, weather, border restrictions, sickness, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
7. JUDICATURE, PLACE OF TRIAL
Haki is a Mexican company herewith this Agreement will be governed by Mexican law and any disputes will be dealt with by Mexican courts.
